Here’s what you need to do from Cloudflare to make the second transfer attempt. This is slightly different from the original transmission.
The first transfer attempt moves the domain name from the “Transfer” page tab under the registrar options in Cloudflare to the “Manage” page tab.
At this point they have received your authorization, made the first attempt to transfer it, failed (if you did at this point), then they increase the speed and remove some steps that do not need to be repeated.
But if you haven’t seen this yet, when you log into Cloudflare, go to the registrar and look at the list of domains in the default “Admin” page, the renewal date will not be there, or even “invalid” to say the least ” date”.

However, nothing can be done in Cloudflare until Godaddy generates a new transfer “authorization code”. If you have a problem with this, you can call them directly. This can take a lot of time. Waiting times are common and can be long. (This is probably one of the many reasons you left GoDaddy! If it helps strengthen your resolve, your life will be a lot easier and a lot cheaper once you complete the transfer process from GoDaddy!
Don’t forget to make sure auto-renew is on. You can turn it off at any time and let the domain expire at any time.
