These easy meat and rice stews with delicious homemade brown rice are a delicious family recipe. Sweet meat with onion, onion and green pepper is one of my favorite things.

This meat and rice recipe is simply delicious and one of those comfort recipes!
Beef Tips And Gravy Recipe (so Tender)
The tender pieces of meat are sprinkled with salt and pepper while they are brown. Then they are topped with chopped green onions and chives and topped with a delicious homemade sauce.
The soup is seasoned with meat broth, onion, garlic and parsley. Everything is cooked so slowly that the end of the meat falls into your mouth as you eat.
Once the sauce thickens, it is added to the rice in the most delicious way. Talk about good comfort food – it’s really good!
Meat: I used red thread because it provides the meaty finish. You can also use stewed meat, but you may need to cook the meat less slowly for a more tender result.
Beef Sirloin Tip Steak With Garlic Butter Potatoes
Oil: I prefer to fry the meat in oil because it is easier to brown the meat without it sticking or burning the pan (instead of using butter).
Butter: I like to use butter as a base for the roux to thicken the sauce because it adds more flavor than oil.
Green peppers: I prefer to use green peppers in this recipe because they are not as sweet as red peppers. Since the chopped onion will already have a delicious taste after cooking, the flavors are very good with green pepper.

Dried Herbs and Spices: A good combination of sea salt, black pepper, dried onion, dried parsley, garlic powder and onion powder makes this dish perfect.

I like to use a combination of fresh garlic and onion with their dry counterparts, because you have the richness of the vegetables and the taste of the dried vegetables.
Flour: I like to make roux with flour. Since this dish will take a long time to cook at a low and slow fire, the raw flour will be removed.
Corn: I like to make a corn slurry to thicken the liquid that the meat is cooking in because I think it makes a tastier sauce. It’s the easiest way to make a thick dough that won’t take long to cook because you don’t have to worry about the taste of raw flour.
Broth: Cooking meat in broth (instead of water) allows you to season the meat with more of the flavor of the meat from the inside. It is more delicious to cook meat in water.

Worcestershire Sauce: Adding Worcestershire sauce adds an umami flavor, but also helps to tenderize the meat while cooking (thanks to the acid in the Worcestershire sauce).
Rice: I like to use jasmine rice for meat and rice, but basmati is another good choice. You can use yellow rice if you prefer a more detailed flavor profile.
To cook the beef on the stove, start by heating half of the oil in a Dutch oven. Add half the meat to the Dutch oven and season with half the salt and pepper. (See recipe card below for complete printing instructions).

Fry the ends of the meat on each side until golden brown and then transfer to a clean plate. Repeat with the remaining pieces of meat, oil, salt and pepper.

Lower the heat and add the butter to the Dutch oven. When the butter is melted, add the chopped onion and green pepper.
Saute, stirring occasionally, until the pepper is soft. Add the minced garlic, dried parsley, onion flakes, garlic powder, onion garlic and fine sea salt. Sauté until fragrant.
Sprinkle the flour over the peppers and onions and stir to coat the vegetables and create a roux.
Slowly pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly. When there is no flour, add the Worcestershire sauce. Add the beef tips and juices from the dish and return to the Dutch oven.

Dip the meat tips in the broth. Bring the water to a boil and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook with the lid on until the meat is soft.
When the meat is almost ready, make the rice according to the instructions on the package. Mix the corn and cold water to make a paste.
Slowly pour the pasta into the broth while simmering until you get the desired sauce consistency. It takes about a minute of boiling for the cornstarch to thicken completely.
