This sequel to the 1986 classic came out this summer with commentary by Tom Cruise and it was EVERYTHING. The film has all the nostalgia that a fan of the original could wish for, a very attractive man in a flight suit (not in a flight suit *wink*) and an adventurous plot that will keep every viewer on the edge of their seats. Watch the trailer here.
I have seen this movie four times in theaters and plan to watch it again soon. I can’t really encourage you to see it… unless my words are heavy enough.. Here’s Miles Teller and the boy’s abs to swallow you up.
Multiplex (movie Theater)
Grab your grandma and head to the movies to watch her fool around with Austin Butler, who is absolutely killing it as the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. I like how this movie is structured like a documentary, but with added glamor and plot twists. I never knew the story of his manager, Colonel Parker, and I thought Tom Hanks killed the roll too. Watch the trailer here.
If you like the book (or even if you’ve never read it) you should see this movie. I was impressed by their ability to create a magical atmosphere as clearly described in the book. Combining romance, science and drama, the film has an overall thriller theme. The ending of this movie is amazing just like the book and will totally shock you. Watch the trailer here.
I went and saw this sweet movie a few days ago and I’m still wondering how much it was worth. This movie feels very feminine and short and is perfect to bring your mom or girlfriend. Watch the trailer here.

These are my favorite movies in theaters right now. Have you seen one of them? What have you been watching lately? Cinemas have officially started to operate. Movie selections are slowly returning to the big screen compared to streaming services and various digital rentals, as we’re here to find out what’s really making the most at the box office.
Movies To See Right Now
However, things are very unusual in theatrical distribution now, so Oscar winners, late releases, indies and classics are booked – depending on the theatre, of course. But luckily, there are so many good movies coming out this year that you shouldn’t have a problem choosing something to watch.

Oppenheimer Release Date: July 21, 2023 Director: Christopher Nolan Cast: Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., David Krumholtz, Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Florence Pugh, Kenneth Branagh, Rami R Malek Rating: 180 minutes
Christopher Nolan, the visionary director of big-budget, big-studio, big-idea sci-fi/fantasy films, has long been at odds with himself, slowly picking up the pieces of his big, obvious edifice, taking wild leaps, and getting bolder. The real test for Nolan will be something akin to a biopic of a great man—not because he’s not respectable enough (or fatherly because of his World War II obsession), but because he wants to fully embrace that rectangular nature. Is the man who called for terrorism, the surveillance state, and Occupy Wall Street as the plot point of the Batman movies really ready for a nuanced examination of the legacy of J. Robert Oppenheimer as the father of the atomic bomb? Yes and no.
Oppenheimer isn’t a great biopic so much as a great-man-but-maybe-biopic, and the writers seem intent on channeling the instinctive and subtle uncertainty of Terrence Malick’s journey to certain points. It’s an interesting watch because Nolan isn’t very Malikian (though that frame of reference might mitigate Kubrick’s overwrought, undercooked parallels in an instant).

Oppenheimer is not so much a biography, it’s not a great-man-but-maybe-biography, and the writer-director occasionally tries to exploit the instinctive and subtle ambiguity of Terrence Malick’s journey. It’s an interesting watch because Nolan isn’t much of a Malickian (though that frame of reference might temporarily alleviate Kubrick’s overwrought, undercooked parallels).

Saw X covers many aspects. It wanders through the realm of grossness, bad fun, delicious inventions, and unexpectedly strikes a sentimental chord. Moreover, there is a high probability that he will write his place in history. It’s a notable factor, though, not just because of the eye-popping and toe-tapping daffodils, but also because it’s the single instance where the tenth installment shines brightest in the franchise. In this iteration, Saw X brings out the essence of the revenge legend, something that the previous film had hidden forever, so to speak. While the Saw franchise often portrays John Kramer / Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) as a semi-vigilante with a skewed moral compass, he’s arguably more endearing when we stop trying to rationalize his evil and accept the undeniable fact that he’s a thoroughly affected man. . . a very unusual attempt.

In my opinion, the perfect Saw trap should meet two simple criteria: it should show creativity and provide a generous dose of gore. The traps in Saw X achieve creativity on two different fronts. First, the mechanism itself is unconventional, carefully crafted, and precisely executed (pun intended). However, it is the nature of the suffering inflicted on the victims that really shows creativity. Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to undergo brain surgery on your own? I have no doubt. And naturally, the “blood” aspect is an element of its own. While the introduction of John Kramer as the main character in the Saw films marked a refreshing departure, the best thing about Saw X is his return to his senses, an example of what makes this film truly exceptional. It favors torture, humor, absurdity, creativity, and highlights a key lesson the franchise should have learned long ago: there’s no need to reinvent the knife.
