The organization of modern communication theory is interesting because it operates at the conceptual level because it is governed mostly by specific networks. I appreciate Craig’s inclusion of the seven traditions. This is a useful tool.
I really like the creation of modern communication networks. I think students will appreciate the way in which multiple stories can be covered under one main theme (ie ELM in Belief). Often students do not understand how networks are connected, but see networks as a very different research structure. The good thing about this organization is that professors can always add rooms or rooms to the network.
