A $15/month fee is waived for a TD Convenience Checking account if you maintain a minimum balance of $100.
They don’t seem to have released this publicly, although they have been offering all services here for a while if you know to ask them.
The only thing new to me here is that you can now open a US account by phone, and the only sign that they seem to offer it now. Both are very important, IMO.
I won’t get much use out of it either as I will be closing my TDCT account soon (but keeping my TD US account). Maybe try applying for a US credit card.

I currently have an RBC account with RBC USA and since they started charging $3 per month on the US side, I’m looking to switch.

The biggest advantage of this over the RBC offer is that you can withdraw every month with a minimum balance of $100 in a US account, the biggest disadvantage of this over the RBC is that it can only be done by phone.
