That said, the math also showed us that we weren’t going to be pretty on one income Um, really, we wouldn’t be able to pay our mortgage or our bills, let alone save any money. So once we decided to “hit the bomb”, I had to come up with some creative ways to make money as a stay at home mom.
When I started I knew my goal was to earn between $2000 and $3000 a month. This is the number where we can get ahead of our bills and debt, be able to live comfortably (within our means), and maybe even save a little for the future. I remember thinking at the time, “Wow – that seems like a lot of money to take home.”
I was sure I could figure it out though I knew I had some skills and thought I might be able to do some childcare from home I wasn’t very tech savvy, but I wanted to try my hand at blogging… and I had a few other ideas to try. Dig through and sell your old video games, handbags, designer clothes, sports equipment, collectibles and knick-knacks!

With these two online jobs (which I could easily do in my sleep or at night) I was able to bring in about $200 a month. It was a great supplement to my day care, and it was very easy
