That! Smoothies are a great breakfast option for people who want to eat healthy and full but don’t have time. Smoothies also provide energy from protein, fiber, and other nutrients to keep you slim.

As long as you use real, whole foods when making your smoothies, they are considered healthy. You should stick to smoothies that are low in sugar and high in fiber, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals. If you can avoid added sweeteners, even natural sweeteners like honey and juice, you should. Also, notice the hidden sweeteners in yogurt and protein powder. Sugar causes faster hunger because it suppresses insulin.

It all depends on the ingredients included in your smoothie. If you make a healthy and balanced smoothie that contains protein, fiber, and healthy fats, it will definitely give you energy to start the day.

Super Healthy Morning Breakfast Smoothies For A Boost Of Energy

Many people have asked me if I recommend adding protein powder to a breakfast smoothie, here’s a thought – all real food is always the first choice; It’s always the best choice, but if you’re looking for convenience as a way to get more protein in your diet, I believe protein powder can be a good addition.

You will notice that I used Vanilla Whey Protein in all of my smoothie recipes this morning. I love whey protein, it’s super rich and smooth, and I’ve never seen a plant-based protein that I really love (although I’m open to suggestions!). If you can tolerate dairy, quality whey protein is the first choice – but of course you can substitute a plant-based protein (I recommend this or this).

Answer: The first thing in the blender is 2 cups of frozen berries; I always recommend using frozen fruit when making smoothies or protein shakes because it makes your smoothie nice, thick, and creamy without having to water it down, 2 cups almond milk or whatever milk you like, 2 parts protein powder – I used vanilla whey protein – then I added 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder for the chocolate flavor.

Blend together until thick and creamy, then I like to sprinkle this smoothie with raw cacao nibs – it gives it a nice crunch and texture – plus an extra dose of antioxidants!

First in the blender; there are 2 frozen bananas – I recommend that you always keep them in the freezer – not only good for smoothies but also good if you want something nice and creamy, then I add 2 Tbsp of organic peanut butter powder – Basically these are dehydrated peanuts, so you get a lot peanut butter flavor but less fat and calories – and there’s nothing wrong with the fat and calories in peanut butter. If you want, you can happily add a couple of tablespoons of peanut butter.
