Here’s a quick, spoiler-free review: Fans of Beauty and the Beast won’t be disappointed. It has just the right tone and makes you feel like you are part of the story. It’s an old story that takes time and lives on.

From here, I will talk about the details of the attractions that I think are disappointing. If you don’t want to spoil anything, I highly recommend checking out all the merchandise and food, and even taking a tour of the new Fantasyland area.
I have to talk about a new “access request” system that I call the “virtual queue lottery.”
At this time, The Magical Tale of Beauty and the Beast does not have standby, fastpass, or single rider lines. This may change in the future, but for now the only way to ride is through the “Entry Request” system.
Now, let’s get to the good part: What did I think about every aspect of the Beauty and the Beast experience at Tokyo Disneyland?

The story of Beauty and the Beast begins as soon as you join the line at the Beast’s castle. Actually, the story begins when you enter the village. It’s all about Maurice’s house, the library, La Taverne de Gaston and finally a stroll through the castle courtyard.
Experience Belle’s story from the first moment of the movie to the last scene. It is noteworthy that the story of peace is inclusive, leading to its appeal. This speaks to the incredible talent of Imagineering and his team who worked so hard on this project.
I’ll tell you a short story. When I was in school, we used to play Beauty and the Beast in class. Here I made my debut as “Baker No. 2” in the opening scene of the play, which ended with the words “Bonjour!” Growing up in Canada, where French is the official language, I had to “learn” the word “Bonjour.” For me, it’s more fundamental.
Goosebumps broke out and a happy smile spread across my face as I saw things that I could only see in motion come to life right before my eyes. Even with my mask on, no one could see how big my smile was.

After crossing the bridge and entering the courtyard, a shiver ran down my spine and I could hardly believe that this was real. As is to be expected with many projects seen at Tokyo Disney Resort, the attention to detail is amazing.
Finally, as I walked through the castle, I couldn’t help but have tears in my eyes. The interior is exactly how my 7-year-old self imagined it. It’s lively and full of elegance.
Yes, it is a beautiful castle with most of the details and magical touches you would expect. I’m really happy and can’t believe I can say this. I wish we had had more time in line to take a closer look at everything.
I went into this attraction not knowing anything (other than the obvious). The pre-show completely surprised me. If you’re familiar with the Tower of Terror pre-show at Tokyo DisneySea, you’ll probably get a similar impression. However, there are more Paige O’Hara (Japanese) than Joe Rohde.

It starts out like a movie. There’s nothing more to say about that. It brings a smile to my face many times.
After the pre-show, we go back to another hall and see a bunch of characters living their best lives in the castle (well, they’re trapped, so at least try). Next, enter the kitchen, which serves as a storage room.
You get into his teapot for 10 guests and he leaves the kitchen with 5 more cups of tea. A total of 60 guests will be dancing together. To be more technical, 60 visitors are sent every few minutes, which is high throughput.

Prepare for chills and tears in the final scene. Everything you imagined in a ballroom scene as a child becomes reality before your eyes. I never imagined that I would be a part of this “fascinating” teacup story. I’m not afraid to admit that I have tears in my eyes.
It wasn’t just the impressive technology that brought the 35-year-old to tears, but also the perfect combination of technology and storytelling. This is a skill that Imagineers are very passionate about, and I think it shows.
Finally, before you brace yourself, the story finds the perfect ending to all the attractions I’ve ever experienced.
Nothing is perfect. That also applies to the fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast. The animatronics are amazing and I want to give a huge round of applause to everyone who worked on this. Because animatronics are the benchmark for everything that will happen in the future.
Enchanted Tales Snow White & Beauty And The Beast
One of the scenes that excited me even more was when the crowd poured into the church building. Personally my favorite scene in the movie. From a technical point of view, I have no idea how this works. The scene where sonic cylinders and other weapons come out of the door as Fifi stops the bloodthirsty mob is a great start to what I think is an even better sequence.
I understand the difficulty, as many of the scenes in question take place elsewhere in the castle or outdoors. But that doesn’t stop me from wanting more (more?).
Simply put, longer scenes with crowds can be more appealing. That said, if that’s my only real criticism, I don’t have much to complain about. I’m not an imagineer so I have no basis for criticism
Adding to the charm is Therion Dion’s animatronic belting out “Beauty and the Beast” at the end. It’s similar to “The Shaman of Songs” on Walt Disney World’s Navi River Cruise. As a proud Canadian, it makes my heart sing.
