The first step you should take in eating healthy is to reduce your intake of processed foods. Fast food, french fries or white bread (I know, I know). If you want to start a healthy diet, I recommend starting with the recipes found below.

You already know why eating healthy is important, but now you need to know what kinds of dinners are really healthy. My general rule of thumb is to always eat some kind of fruit or vegetable. Next, you should consume protein. It can be anything from chicken, beef, seafood, beans or lentils. To feel full, you need carbohydrates. Carbohydrates can be tricky because some are better than others. My recommendation is always whole wheat bread, rice and sweet potatoes or regular potatoes. There are truly endless options; However, you want to make sure that you consume carbohydrates in moderation. Maybe don’t choose to eat an entire plate of pasta every night. Finally, dairy is an option, but I don’t think that will stop me. If it makes sense to add it to the recipe, do so, but don’t go crazy!
