The same parent as above, with the same pumping schedule, will use cluster pumping between the two pumping periods without skipping those periods and adding short, regular pumping sessions in between.

So let’s say you wanted to connect the pump between 6pm and 10pm. You can press 6:00 20 minutes, 6:35 6 minutes, 7:15 9 minutes, 7:42 7 minutes, 8:20 10 minutes, 8:55 6 minutes, 9:22. 5 minutes, 9:47 5 minutes and 22:00 20 minutes.
So, two pumping sessions equals 8 times the breasts are pumped and prolactin is high. But pole pumping is great, so it’s easy to see why electric pumping may be feasible for many parents!
