Current research does not support waiting too long to introduce foods that are common allergens because this delay in exposure may actually increase the risk of developing allergies. However, these foods should not be given before 4 months.
Instead, it is recommended to try a few foods that are less likely to cause allergies first, then introduce the potential allergen; Start with a small amount and gradually increase if there are no signs of allergy or intolerance.
